As WhatsApp has started to roll out its payments services in India, users have been trying to find ways to change their payment bank account on WhatsApp Pay. If you’re wondering how you can change your bank account on WhatsApp Pay, there are two ways you can do it – either by changing the bank account linked to your phone number or by removing and then adding a new bank account. Let’s take a look at how you can change your bank account on WhatsApp Pay. How to change your bank account in WhatsApp Pay
Step 1 – Open WhatsApp
Open up WhatsApp on your phone. You can do so by swiping right from the Home screen or going through your app drawer. Step 2 – Access Settings: You’ll find a number of settings at the bottom of your WhatsApp window.
Step 2 – Go to Setting
First off, open WhatsApp on your phone and click on Settings. Once you have opened it, tap on Payments and then tap once again on Payments. You will now see a screen like that of the image below. This is where you will be able to see all of your previous transactions or payments made through WhatsApp Pay.
Step 3 – Payments
Go to Payments, click on Profile Settings and then click on Bank Accounts. From there you can manage your linked bank accounts. To delete a current bank account from the app, tap Edit and then tap Delete next to each of them.

Step 4 – Add Payment Method
Once you’ve added a payment method and transferred money from your bank account, click on Add Payment Method. This will allow you to add other methods of payment. It’s worth noting that for now, there are only two methods of payment: UPI or BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money).
Step 5 – Choose Your Bank Account
Once you’ve decided that you want to use WhatsApp Pay, it’s time to link up a bank account. When you open up WhatsApp and tap on more options at top right corner, go to Account and then Payment Information. Here, choose Bank Account and add your details.
