Then export the file from there into a .MP4 format, which will allow you know add internal audio that’s done through Audacity. Next step is go back onto Google Docs and paste the transcript of what’s being said on screen and voila!

To start, click the Record Button in the top left corner of the document. Then you can play your video on YouTube and then record your audio using an external mic. Finally, you can highlight and delete any text that was included in the video (i.e., subtitles).

Save as .docx file
Google docs is a free and easy way to transcribe videos from youtube. It only takes a few steps:
1) Sign in using your google account (the one you use for other google products)
2) Click the File tab at the top of the page, click New, then select either Text document or Spreadsheet.
3) Enter a filename and click on the three vertical dots at the bottom of the page.

4. If you use a phone for the transcription, then you have the option of syncing your voice recording. Once complete, this will enable you to sync the video and audio together (you can find this setting in Settings > Apps).
5. If you use a tablet or laptop for the transcription, then click on Full Screen at the bottom of your browser and select Annotate from the drop-down menu that appears.
